  Responsibilities of Billing Specialist:
  
  • 
    
  • Research, develop, and maintain a solid understanding of all third party payer and contractual billing requirements for all programs
    
  • Manage overpayments/credits on account balances upon transactions
    
  • Review outstanding aged receivables
    
  • Works internal and external requests sent via email, or over the phone
    
  • Pull data from system from unpaid claims and create data sheets
    
    Preferred Qualifications of Billing Specialist :
    
    • 
      
    • Have medical industry experience
      
    • Comfortable working remotely
      
    • Basic to intermediate excel skills
      
    • Self Starter mentality
