Billing Clerk: Springfield, MACFS has partnered with a great client who is looking to hire a Billing Specialist to sit on their accounting team.About the Opportunity and Billing Clerk role:

Great location in Springfield, MA
Flexible office hours offered

Tasks of the Billing Clerk role:
- Process invoices and ensure accuracy of billing information
- Verify and reconcile billing discrepancies
- Track payments and follow up on delinquent accounts
- Communicate with customers regarding billing issues and payment reminders
- Prepare reports on billing activity and provide analysis as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate billing and timely payments
  
  Preferred Qualifications of the Billing Clerk:
  - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  - Experience with accounting software is a plus
