Billing SpecialistBear Mountain HealthcareSeeking a full-time Billing Specialist with experience in a Skilled Nursing Home setting, with experience in Medicaid, HMO/Insurance, Private Billing and Masshealth Application Process.Duties include:--- Review and bill out HMO/Insurance and Medicaid claims monthly.--- Work with families, attorney's and Masshealth to get residents approved for Medicaid.--- Investigate, resolve and process claim denials and resubmits according to the Insurance/Medicaid guidelines.--- Calculate, prepare, and issue bills, invoices, account statements and other financial records according to established procedures.--- Entering census data in Point Click software, such as new patient information, discharge, and any other census information.--- Ensure patient account information is updated in a timely manner, including all patient data and insurance information--- Send out private bills monthly, review, research and respond to all patient inquiries regarding patient accounts.--- Daily deposits and post cash to patient accounts.--- Ensure overpayments/refunds are appropriately processed and applied to patient accounts.--- Post ancillary billing invoices in billing software monthly.--- Experience with (RFMS) Resident Fund Management Services.--- Perform additional duties as assigned.Requirements Include:--- 3-5 years' experience in Billing and Collections in Skilled Nursing Facility.--- Experience with Point Click Care Software required.--- Candidates must be detail oriented with excellent computer skills.
