    About the Job:

    We're excited to announce an opportunity for a Financial Reporting Specialist position at Country Bank to grow our amazing Accounting Team! We're seeking a self-motivated individual, who can take our financial reporting to the next level. The Financial Reporting Specialist will build, modify & maintain financial reports to meet ad-hoc business requests, ensure data integrity and collaborate with other departments to improve efficiencies. Working experience analyzing data, metrics and financials to make data-driven decisions is required. Candidates must have at least three to five years of related work experience, including responsibilities in complex system analysis, process documentation, and managing third-party vendor relationships. Prior work experience in the financial services industry is required.

    The hiring range for this position is $45,143 to $67,714.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other Duties May be Assigned):
    • Builds, modifies, schedules and maintains ad-hoc reports using various reporting tools, including administration of such applications.
    • Serves as the system owner and admin for SNL Banker and SQL Reporting Services.
    • Prepares various monthly reporting for financial packages.
    • Prepares various quarterly data extracts including, ALM, QCR and MSR Valuation files.
    • Reviews ad-hoc reports for accuracy. Responsible for making enhancements to the reports to meet the needs of the business line.
    • Assists end users with training for the reporting channels.
    • Maintains documentation and procedures of reports generated and their sources for reference.
    • Back up for various Accounting functions as needed.
    • Assists with wire processing, verifying changes in PayPlus, resetting passwords, and answering various end-user and customer questions.
    • Performs annual report review process with all departments of the Bank.
    • Member of various project committees as a subject matter expert in reporting.

      Knowledge and Skills:
      • Ability to work independently while interpreting ideas and facts
      • Strong customer service skills, as well as strong written communication skills
      • Ability to make effective presentations in a group setting.
      • Exceptional verbal and numerical aptitudes.
      • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access, including the ability to build complex formulas and work with large amounts of data.
      • Intermediate knowledge of Outlook and Access
      • Basic knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
      • Strong knowledge of Finastra core platform and SQL Database preferred.

        Education and Work Experience:
        • Associate's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
        • Three to five years of banking experience is required.

          Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:This position is in an office environment, which means the physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards, with a moderate level of noise. Prolonged periods of sitting and looking at a computer screen with freedom of movement on a regular basis is expected. Minimal physical effort is required but could include: repetitive motion of wrists and fingers; talking and hearing; and handling of light materials and supplies. This position may require some travel between offices.
