Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead,
will be responsible for writing technical documentation and
developing examples to teach technical audience how to use
MathWorks sophisticated software to design, model and simulate
engineering systems; developing online content to help customers
work with sophisticated code verification products; measuring and
improving the quality of embedded software; writing goal-oriented
content that explains code verification and static analysis
concepts and techniques for verifying C and C++ code; demonstrating
use cases and workflows with functional examples and tutorials;
helping develop and enhance online resources; working with users
and customer-facing groups to understand use cases and to clarify
processes; working with the development team in product planning,
feature design review, and testing; and helping drive development
based on user goals. Education and Experience: Masters degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and no experience. OR Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and five (5) years of experience in
job offered or five (5) years of experience in technical writing,
teaching, or development of automatic code generation
technologies. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise performing object-oriented programming
using C/C++ and MATLAB; and in the full software development life
cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, functional design,
architecture design, implementation, and testing. Demonstrated expertise applying numerical analysis and
computation to model-based simulations; and applying model-based
design workflows, involving model creation, to solve real-world
scientific and engineering problems. Demonstrated expertise writing user focused technical manuals,
articles, or published research using markup language -- XML or
LaTeX. Demonstrated expertise teaching or training modeling and
simulation of signal processing applications, communications and
control systems using MATLAB; and teaching MATLAB and developing
university-level curriculum and laboratory tutorials of physical
modeling of electronic systems or numerical modeling in MATLAB,
