Job Description:

US Foods is currently seeking a skilled Diesel Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks, critical for the timely delivery of our wide range of products. In this role, you’ll be an essential part of ensuring that all vehicles are in top condition, helping US Foods to meet high standards of reliability and efficiency. This position demands a professional with practical experience in diesel engine repair and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies in the field. Perform regular diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles. Conduct routine and emergency maintenance and repairs of all fleet vehicles. Maintain detailed records of service schedules, inventories, and maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines in the maintenance garage. Collaborate with the logistics team to schedule repairs and minimize vehicle downtime. Profound knowledge of diesel engines and components. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and coordination abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Familiarity with diagnostic software and tools used for vehicle repair. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k ASE Diesel Certification highly preferred. Valid driver’s license.
