For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Staff & Management Position Summary: We’re seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to support daily operations across a variety of campus facilities, including academic buildings, residence halls, and administrative offices. In this role, you’ll help maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment by performing light mechanical repairs, general upkeep, and routine maintenance tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and takes pride in keeping facilities running smoothly. Perform minor plumbing repairs and clear drains Replace ceiling tiles, lamps, air filters, and fire extinguishers Conduct touch-up painting in common areas and mechanical rooms Maintain and repair door hardware, blinds, and furniture Assist with general labor tasks such as organizing materials and cleaning equipment Report safety hazards and larger maintenance issues to the appropriate team Follow ABM and client safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures Support seasonal and event-related maintenance needs Perform other duties as assigned Experience in a facilities or office maintenance environment preferred Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and basic hand tools Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to stand for extended periods and climb ladders Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Previous custodial experience is a plus Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed About Us ABM (NYSE: ABM) is one of the world’s largest providers of facility services and solutions.
