What You---ll Do As a Special Education Paraprofessional at Veritas Prep, you---ll provide support in the substantially separate special education classroom. You'll work with individual and small groups of students with special education needs, supporting their academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success and reinforcing learning of content and skills introduced by the classroom teacher. You will also: Provide student support during arrival, instruction, transitions, lunch, and dismissal. Help students master equipment and/or instructional materials assigned by the teacher. Assist in the implementation of behavior management supports as directed and supervised by the teacher.
