(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

Language Interpreter to support a dynamic educational environment
in New Haven, CT. This role is ideal for a professional dedicated
to fostering inclusive communication and enhancing access to
learning for students with hearing impairments. Key
responsibilities include: Providing clear and accurate sign
language interpretation during classroom instruction, school
events, and meetings. Facilitating communication between students,
teachers, and staff to ensure full participation. Collaborating
with educators and support personnel to tailor interpreting
services to individual student needs. Maintaining confidentiality
and professionalism while managing sensitive educational
information. Traveling to various school locations within the area
to support multiple users as needed. Desired qualifications and
experience: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with
certification preferred. Previous experience interpreting in
educational settings. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability
to work collaboratively with students and school staff. Flexibility
and willingness to travel between schools within the region.
