Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Engineer - Senior Team Lead
3, will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing
sophisticated software systems; developing and improving MathWorks
machine learning and neural network software by adding features and
enhancing usability; integrating neural network software into
existing applications and building new ones; designing, developing,
and maintaining neural network software in MATLAB; developing
requirements through customer interviews and usability tests;
developing appropriate architecture and implementing designs;
participating in team activities including planning, design
discussions, and reviews; and working with other teams to provide a
quality product for customers. Education and Experience: Masters degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Networking and no
experience. OR Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Networking and five
(5) years of experience in job offered or five (5) years of
experience in design, development, or testing of machine learning
software. Special Requirements: Demonstrated expertise programming in C++, MATLAB, and Python;
and in object oriented design and analysis in C++ and MATLAB
according to design patterns. Demonstrated expertise in design, development and testing of
software for neural network algorithms using MATLAB along the
Software Development Life Cycle. Demonstrated expertise applying statistical and numerical
methods -- linear algebra, probability, and mathematical
optimization -- and machine learning methods -- classification and
regression -- to build machine learning applications. Demonstrated expertise in user interface (UI) design using
MATLAB App Designer and programmatic MATLAB UI API; and writing
MATLAB code for MATLAB graphics data analytics and data
