Be a part of something greater than yourself and make a lasting impact at CACI.What You'll Get to Do:CACI is hiring a Postgres Automation Engineerteam to support the Geospatial Services & Solutions business area to provide high-quality, cost-effective solutions to the customer. As part of the GSS Team the engineer's expertise is needed to support a sophisticated enterprise environment.More About the Role:

• Design, deploy, and maintain Postgres databases solutions leveraging automation and infrastructure as-code.
• Monitor and tune the systems to achieve optimum DB/DW performance levels
• Develop, optimize, and tune stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and queries, in support of business intelligence and analytic applications.
• Work in close collaboration with a group of Automation Engineers, Infrastructure Administrators, Front End Developers, and Data Scientists
  • Evaluate and make recommendations regarding data integrity
  • Diagnose, isolate and expediently resolve complex problems pertaining to data structures
  • Develop methods of ensuring that data incompatibilities among systems are systematically eliminated
  • Develop and recommend data management policies, standards, practices and security measures to ensure effective and consistent data management operations
  • Administer production, staging and development environments
    • Work with A&A Teams to maintain security requirements for operation of systems
    • Maintain up to date documentation of designs/configurations, ensuring team members have continuity of recurring tasksYou'll Bring These Qualifications:
      • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
      • Minimum of 8 years related experience
        • Strong experience in PostgreSQL, Linux/Unix scripting
        • Demonstrated experience/knowledge working in a DevOps environment
        • Understanding of Python, Bash, and Shell scripting
