technologies of tomorrow. Position Overview: As a pivotal member of
our team, you will engage in groundbreaking projects under the
guidance of a Team Leader/Area Manager. Your role will include
planning, conducting, and directing the development and evaluation
of scientific and engineering projects within the electrical
engineering discipline, aimed at increasing technical knowledge and
providing innovative solutions. Your focus will be on engineering
risk & reliability; responsibilities (with electrical discipline
focus) include evaluation of new and existing designs, emerging
technologies, and safety/protection systems; development of
advanced inspection, maintenance and monitoring techniques and
practices; performing root cause analyses of industrial loss
events; and developing/providing guidance to address loss concerns
of industry. Key Responsibilities: - Innovate and Solve: Develop
engineering solutions, evaluate new technologies, and advance
scientific knowledge in electrical engineering. - Communicate and
Collaborate: Serve as a technical communicator between the company,
its customers, and external organizations. - Lead and Market:
Develop and market proposals for research development supported by
internal and external sources. - Learn and Expand: Progressively
develop competence in various engineering or scientific techniques
to meet company objectives. - Report and Inform: Keep the Team
Leader/Area Manager informed of project status and progress,
addressing any significant matters affecting objectives. Education:
PhD in electrical engineering OR MS 5 years of related experience 5
years of design and/or operation & maintenance experience on
electrical/power generation (including renewables) equipment (such
as generators, transformers, wind, solar, and battery energy
storage). Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines is
necessary. Exposure to power electronics, electrical system studies
and modeling is desired. Engineering or research in special area of
electrical engineering commanding industry recognition or leading
to publication as author of original work in peer review journal,
is a plus. Skills: - Interested in continuous learning and
expanding abilities and skills while undertaking challenging
problems. - State of the art knowledge in special area of
electrical engineering including experience with related areas of
analysis and experimental techniques. - Proficient skills to
analyze and resolve complex problems and the ability to work both
independently and collaboratively in a dynamic multi-disciplined
team environment. - Superior written and communication skills for
report writing and communication of technical concepts to internal
and external clients. - Demonstrated project management skills
including technical, financial, and personnel management for a
significant project. Familiarity with office tools for business and
technical communication. Compensation, Grade, and Job Title will be
