Job Description Job Description Production Assembler Location: Fairfield, NJ Shifts: First Shift Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 hour We are seeking a dedicated Production Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will assemble components according to detailed drawings and operation sheets, ensuring precision and quality in every task. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: Assemble components in accordance with drawings and operation sheets. Perform weighing, loading, and pressing operations. Handle tooling and fixtures and use various hand tools to produce or modify parts. Maintain count and order progress by logging time and quantities. Close and assemble units using crimping and closure tools and apply epoxy. Perform soldering tasks, including small wire soldering, terminal soldering, and bridge wire welding. Build and route wire harnesses, including cutting, stripping, crimping, and terminating wires according to specifications. Inspect completed assemblies for quality and compliance with specifications. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols. Requirements: Must be a U.S. Person or Permanent Resident. Ability to follow required company safety practices and quality procedures. Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with small components. Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical assembly processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions. Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly environment required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
