Job Description Job Description Job Title: CNC Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with over 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to read, interpret, and write blueprints, as well as experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machines. This role requires proficiency in using measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. The candidate must be capable of adjusting speeds, feeds, offsets, and performing changeovers on machines and should have experience working on 3-axis machines. Independence and minimal supervision are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines efficiently. Read, interpret, and write blueprints for machining tasks. Use precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Adjust machine speeds, feeds, offsets, and perform changeovers. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machinery. Work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality. Essential Skills 3 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in reading and writing blueprints. Experience with 3-axis machines. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles. Ability to make offsets, tool changes, and minor program edits at the machine. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with grinding, lathe, drill press, and programming. Familiarity with 2nd or 3rd shift operations. Capability in using CMM is a plus. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of New Albany, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $74880.00/yr.
