  • 12 Observed HolidaysPosition OverviewThe Program Director is the site leader for CIP's program location. The Program Director holds top-level accountability for ensuring overall programming will be delivered successfully to our students and families.ObjectivesDirectors oversee and manage the three key pillars of the successful operation of a site location: (1) effective programming and service delivery; (2) administrative and physical functions of the site; and (3) admissions function in order to ensure quantity and quality in enrollment.Standard ActivitiesThe Program Director works closely with the National Office to inform the strategic planning process and in turn, are responsible for delivering on the company's strategic plans and initiatives at the site level. Program Directors bring a strategic mindset and long-term outlook as well as the ability to lead and develop their team. Directors manage and maintain high-level relationships with key contacts including families, educational consultants and institutions, and practitioners in the field. A successful Program Director must have a broad knowledge of program management and leadership principles, including:_Strategy - objectives, priorities, planning_Site operations_Student enrollment and retention_Assessment and evaluation of the overall quality of the program_Financial management (budgeting, spending, purchasing)_Risk management (Compliance and regulation)_Employee recruiting and hiring_Talent development and future leadership (succession planning)_Team culture and positive environment_External trends and policies_Key external business and professional relationships_Monitoring and reporting center performance and outcome metrics_Long-term vision, direction, and influenceRequired Education / Experience_Advanced education (graduate degree or doctorate preferred)_Proven experience in a leadership position (5+ years experience in relevant field)_Thorough understanding of business and educational management techniques and methods_Excellent knowledge of educational performance evaluation techniques and key metrics_Outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting, and budgeting_Business acumen with a strategic ability_Excellent organizational and leadership skills_An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilitiesPreferred Education / Experience_Education, training, or career experience in approaches, methods, and supports for persons with autism spectrum disorder and/or learning differences_Experience in the field of autism and/or learning disabilitiesTravel_Some travel both in and out of state may be required
