Responsibilities of the RN Nurse Manager Medical Surgical Med-SurgOversee daily nursing operation for the Cardiac and Neuro Medical Surgical UnitReport to Director of Nursing and carries our mission, vision and values of the hospitalImplement training, coaching and mentoring to improve quality outcomes, patient satisfaction and nurse retention Train and onboard new medical surgical nursing staffPractice compassionate, evidence-based patient careDevelop patient care plans and monitor patient progressWork to improve patient care and safety standards across the cardiac heart care and neurological unit Knowledgeable in evidence-based nursing practices for cardiovascular care, heart failure, coronary, myocardial and neurological treatments Requirements for the RN Nurse Manager Medical Surgical Med-SurgBSN Bachelor's Degree in Nursing requiredMSN Master's Degree in Nursing preferred3+ years cardiac nursing experience requiredNurse Management experience preferred National Certification preferred ACLS preferred CPR and BLS Current RN Nursing license in the state of Massachusetts Why You'll Love It:Competitive pay Union position Full benefit package: 401(k) contributions, health insurance, PTO and vacationOpportunities for growth-- -
