We're looking for aSenior Competitive Intelligence Manager (United States REMOTE)This role plays a critical part in shaping the future state of Cornerstone's product and marketing strategy and sales execution.The Compete team at Cornerstone seeks a sharp Competitive Intelligent Manager to join the team and boost its research and insight development power. In this role, you'll use your deep knowledge of our customers, competitors, and the markets we're in to create compete strategies and content, inform product direction, and identify new opportunities for the company. Your key stakeholders will include GTM teams ensuring they are confident and equipped to sell into a competitive market; product teams providing information to determine product investments; and the executive team delivering market intelligence to inform overall strategy. You should be passionately curious, analytical, a natural storyteller, and a strategic thinker. You will need exceptional communication skills, technical depth, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple time-sensitive projects.In this role you will---Gather intelligence across all of Cornerstone's product suite that will improve our understanding of our competitive position, at both a strategic and tactical levelPartner with product marketers, sales enablement and strategy groups to conduct relevant research and analysisContinuously monitor the external environment, filtering information and identifying relevant insights for our businessQuickly become an authority in select markets, deep diving to understand the macro trends and context, competitive situation, and various business models serving the spaceLeverage quantitative and qualitative data from internal and external data sources to produce dashboards, metrics, or insights and identify trends or anomalies; partner with our Business Operations, Sales Operations and marketing teams to ensure connectivity with existing dataAssist with creating synthesized, digestible reports for an executive audience (i.E. CEO, leadership team, board members)Conduct in-depth research using relevant internal and external resources and translate complex data into clear, compelling narrativesTranslate intel into material for sales: battlecards, whitepapers, messaging and positioningAssist in socializing intel and analysis across the broader organization, creating and disseminating materials to educate staff, posting on internal communication platform, and being an evangelist for our teamYou've got what it takes if you have---5+ years in product marketing, product management, consulting, corporate development, corporate strategy, or strategic insightsAt least 2 years of relevant experience in competitive intelligence and/or, market researchFamiliar with the SaaS/enterprise software market; experience with HCM industry a strong plusA proven ability to illuminate insights from complex, disconnected data you make complicated information easy to understandProven ability to find the "so what" of dataStrong quantitative skills and high attention to detailOutstanding written and verbal communication skills with proven record of presenting to a wide variety of audiencesExperience creating business cases, including calculating Total Addressable Market (TAM) and functionality comparisonsLow ego, high curiosity, with an enthusiasm for insights and strategyOur Culture:Our mission is to empower people, businesses and communities.
