• Bachelors' degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing is required, MSN or equivalent preferred, from a school of nursing accredited by the National League of Nursing -or is qualified by education and experience in the care of the mentally ill.Experience:
  • Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct -experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred. - Experience in patient assesments, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities. - Two year's leadership preferred.License: - Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing.Additional Requirements: CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days. - Maybe required to work fleible hours and overtime.
