Kindred Behavioral Health is seeking a passionate, creative and
goal-oriented Behavioral Health Executive Director to--manage
Baystate Hospitals new 12 bed,--pediatric/adolescent unit --in
Springfield, MA-- and have an immediate impact on expanding on our
success, growing our services and fulfilling our mission of
improving the lives of all we touch. As a Behavioral Health
Executive Director you will:
- Responsibility for the strategic planning, managing, directing,
coordinating and controlling the overall operations of behavioral
health program and services.
- P rovides leadership to ensure attainment of strategic
objectives and the delivery of quality, economical health care
services and other related lines of business.
- Coordinates and enforces program-wide policies and procedures
that support the accomplishment of the behavioral health services'
aims, objectives, and programs.
- Directs the shortrange and long-range planning functions that
develop goals, objectives, and strategic plans to ensure quality
services and a financially sound program.
- Participates and manages the budget for the programs, allocates
funds within the budget as directed by the VP, Finance Behavioral
Health and ensures that the programs operate within the

As a Behavioral Health Executive Director you you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business
administration, finance, or clinical specialty.
- Master's degree in healthcare administration, business
administration, or clinical specialty preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education, training.
- 7 years' experience in healthcare administration/hospital
management, with 2 years at the level of Executive Director level
required. 5 years' management experience over facility operations,
human resources and finance required.
- Graduate level education may substitute on a year-to-year basis
