Location of PMHNP position: Springfield, MA
Position Highlights of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:

• Well-established, Non-for-profit, CMHC actively seeking BE/ BC Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join ever-growing team of providers in Springfield, MA
  
• Full Time Practice Opportunity- 40 hours/ week
  
• Ton of Flexibility in Scheduling offered-5-8's, 4-10's etc.
  
• 100% Outpatient Setting - No Call or Weekend work Required (Option for additional Compensation)
  
• Treat primarily the Adult Patient Population for general psychiatric disorders
  
• Typical Job duties; 60 Min- Psychiatric Initial Evaluations and 20-30 min Medication Management
  
• Collaborative working environment alongside other Psych NP's, Supervising MD's and ancillary staff for additional support
  
• Extremely Competitive Salary PLUS a Comprehensive Benefit Package
  
• 2-3% Merit Increase/ Year
  
• 5.5 weeks of PTO year one
  
  Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:
  1. Must be licensed to prescribe medication in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Board of Registration in Nursing, a completed and accepted Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration application, and a Federal DEA Certificate.
  2. Master's Degree or higher in mental health nursing from an accredited college or university recognized by the National League for Nursing or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
  3. Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in psychiatric and mental health nursing with APRN-BC designation in one of the following areas: 1. Clinical Specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing; 2. Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner; or 3. Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
