Join us as a Recovery Specialist!Part Time - 16 hours, shift 3:00pm-11:30pm per week requires every other weekend and holiday rotation.Full Time - 32 hours, shift 3:00pm-11:30pm per week requires every other weekend and holiday rotation.As a Recovery Specialist for MiraVista in Holyoke, Massachusetts, you will bring your experience and knowledge where your voice matters. The Recovery Specialist is a part of the multidisciplinary Inpatient Addiction Services team and is responsible for maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment with emphasis on high-quality care and patient conformance.How You Care for our PatientsAs a Recovery Specialist you will be an active participant in the health care team that provides direct care to patients maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu grounded in our core values. You will be responsible for admissions, discharges, milieu management, group programming, safety checks and nursing support.How We Care for YouWe offer competitive compensation related to your years of experience. We are focused on providing you the care and support that you need to thrive at home and at work.You Bring Meaningful ExperienceSuccessful candidates will have the following:High School Diploma or equivalent required; BA/BS in related field preferredMinimum of one (1) year experience working with patients with psychiatric and/or substance use disordersRequires an understanding of the principles of both recovery-oriented care trauma-informed care and how to support patients toward their treatment goals. Demonstrates excellent social, verbal, written skills and computer skillsMiraVista Behavioral Health Center is a new healthcare provider created to bring much needed psychiatric and substance use disorder services to Western Massachusetts.
