Hospital in Massacheutts is seeking locum OB/GYN to help with ongoing coverage through 2025. Schedule: These are 24 hour shifts inhouse Dates of Coverage: ASAP possible until early 2025 TBD Practice Setting: OBGYN-Labor and Delivery /Hospital ED and OR Coverage No outpatient or elective surgeries Total Number of Beds: 16 beds- 6 labor/10 postpartum Number of Physicians in Practice: 4 Other OB/GYNs will provide coverage during Locums coverage dates How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 10 Onsite Lab Onsite Ultrasound Office Equipment: Full complement of supplies Support Staff: Full complement-RN, CNM's, 24 hour Peds, Anesthesia and surgical PA's available on site Percentage of Practice is Low Risk Pregnancy: 100% Percentage of Practice is High Risk Pregnancy: 0% Percentage of Practice is GYN: 15% GYN emergency coverage only Percentage of Patients are C-Section: 25% Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: 2 per day Nursery Level (I, II, III): Level One Nursery Documentation System/EMR: Meditech Facility will reimburse Mileage Required Obstetrics Procedures: Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.) FHR Interpretation --- NST/CST/FSE,OB ultrasounds Performance of Interpretation,OB ultrasounds Performance of Level I/Screening (Viability) Labor and Delivery Required Procedures: Routine Delivery ---Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section,Complicated Delivery ---C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc.,VBAC---s,Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations Gynecology Required Procedures: D&C,Surgical Gynecology --- Open,Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Only-Tubal Ligation LOA---s, Chromal Tubation,Operative/Major (Includes Diagnostic) --- Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA---s Requirements: Board Certified BLS MA License About Curative: A subsidiary of Doximity, we are physicians-first curating the best opportunities, at the right times, and keeping calls succinct.
