Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery

Requirements Current OB/L&D experience PP, MB & lactation
experience Apgar testing experience Certification Requirements
AWHONN BLS (AHA) NRP (AHA) Preterm Labor High blood pressure
Diabetes VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Section) Prenatal
testing Amniocentesis Childbirth education classes - Must be
proficient & experienced from patient check in to pre/post care to
discharge - CAH experience strongly encouraged Weekend
Requirements: Every Other Weekend/Holiday Rotation if scheduled
Speare OB Unit can manage High-Risk pregnancy management, including
(but not limited to): Preterm Labor High blood pressure Diabetes
VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Section) Prenatal testing
