Elizabethtown, NY Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract
position. Schedule 12-hour evening shifts, working 3 days one week
and 4 days the next, including every other weekend and holiday as
required. Job Description Join a dynamic Emergency Medicine Unit
where you will provide quality care in a 6-bed ER environment. The
unit serves patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics,
addressing a wide range of emergency diagnoses. Responsibilities -
Assess, prioritize, and manage patient care in a fast-paced
emergency environment. - Perform unit-specific procedures including
IV therapy, lab draws, respiratory treatments, and EKGs. -
Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to ensure optimal
patient outcomes. - Utilize the EPIC-ASAP documentation system for
patient records and medication management via Pyxis. - Assist in
the training and orientation of new staff as needed. Required
Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Minimum of 2 years of
clinical experience in an emergency setting. - Certifications
required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC. - NIH Stroke Scale certification
must be completed prior to start. - EPIC experience within the last
2 years is mandatory. - Preferred certifications include CEN, ENPC,
