Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/14/2026 Duration: 2 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Emergency Medicine Registered Nurse Location Elizabethtown, NY Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 12-hour evening shifts. The schedule includes working three 12-hour shifts one week and four 12-hour shifts the next week. A minimum of every other weekend and holidays is required. Job Description The Emergency Medicine Registered Nurse (RN) will provide critical care for patients presenting with various emergency conditions. The RN will be responsible for assessment, evaluation, and management of patients in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Conduct assessments and provide emergency care to patients of all ages. Manage ventilators and prepare patients for transport. Perform procedures such as EKGs, IV therapy, lab draws, and cardiac monitoring. Utilize the EPIC-ASAP documentation system for patient records. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine is required. Active New York Nursing License or proof of application. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS. Preferred Certifications: CEN, ENPC, CPEN, ABLS. Experience with EPIC within the past 2 years is required. Why ARMStaffing?
