can focus on your career and your life. Responsibilities Telemetry
RNs (Tele RNs) consult with health care team members to assess,
plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans. The Tele RN
utilizes machines that measure a patient’s heart rate, blood
pressure, breathing rate, as well as blood oxygen levels and
electrocardiogram information. Tele RN job responsibilities
include, but are not limited to: Tele RNs prepare, administer, and
record prescribed medications and report an adverse reaction to
medications in accordance with policies Prepare equipment and
assist physician during examination and treatment of patient
Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the appropriate
medical team member Monitor specialized equipment used on patients
