Job Description:

services, is seeking a dedicated Nurse Manager to oversee nursing
staff and ensure that patients receive compassionate, efficient,
and effective care at our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. This
role is pivotal in maintaining the standards of excellence that
Encompass Health is known for, encompassing both leadership and
clinical nursing aspects to support our mission of setting the
standard in rehabilitation. The Nurse Manager will be responsible
for managing all nursing operations, collaborating with
multidisciplinary teams to streamline patient care, and
implementing innovative strategies to enhance patient outcomes.
Manage day-to-day operations of the nursing department and
supervise staff to ensure adherence to quality standards,
compliance, and regulations. Develop and implement nursing policies
and procedures that improve patient care and operational
efficiency. Monitor patient care for quality. Coordinate with
healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans and
outcomes. Manage staff scheduling, hiring, training, and
performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with healthcare laws,
regulations, and standards. Prepare and manage budgets for the
nursing department. Facilitate communication and collaboration
throughout the healthcare facility. Strong leadership and
organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Proficiency in healthcare management systems and electronic
health records Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
