Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system that

is seeking a qualified Clinical Nurse II for our D6E
medical-surgical unit. This position offers the opportunity to work
in a dynamic environment dedicated to advanced medical education,
groundbreaking biomedical research, and superior patient care. As a
Clinical Nurse II, you will play a critical role in managing
patient care and promoting optimal health outcomes on a dedicated
floor specializing in diverse medical conditions. Provide
high-quality nursing care for patients with various medical
conditions in the D6E unit. Work collaboratively with
interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient
care plans. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as
needed. Educate patients and their families on disease processes,
treatment, and prevention. Administer medications and maintain
accurate patient records. Participate in departmental meetings and
contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Support patient
safety measures and adhere to hospital protocols and standards.
Strong clinical skills in a medical-surgical setting. Ability to
work effectively in a team-oriented health care environment.
Excellent communication and patient education skills. Proficiency
in electronic medical record systems. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice. Certification in
Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS) certified preferred.
