Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system that

is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse II specializing in
Pulmonary/Renal care. This vital role focuses on providing
exceptional nursing care to patients with pulmonary and renal
conditions, ensuring both compassionate support and adherence to
high standards of medical practice. This position offers nurses the
opportunity to be at the forefront of medical innovation and
patient care in a dynamic, supportive environment. Provide
comprehensive nursing care to pulmonary and renal patients ensuring
adherence to established protocols and standards. Assess, plan,
implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with
the healthcare team. Perform detailed patient assessments and
administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor
patients' condition and progress and adjust treatments as needed.
Educate patients and their families on disease management,
treatment plans, and home recovery processes. Document all patient
interactions and treatments accurately in patient medical records.
Participate in the training and mentoring of junior nurses and
other healthcare staff. Advanced knowledge of pulmonary and renal
nursing practices Ability to operate specialized medical equipment
used in patient care Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in
medical software and electronic health records Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Registered Nurse
(RN) license in the state of practice BLS/CPR certification ACLS
certification is preferred
