VHS is seeking dedicated Locum General Medicine Providers to perform vital Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across New Hampshire. This opportunity allows you to apply your expertise in a meaningful way while enjoying flexible scheduling and competitive pay. In this role, you will conduct interview-based assessments and physical examinations, including range of motion and muscle strength testing, primarily in your own office location within a 50-mile radius of Lincoln and Lebanon, NH. This position is perfect for experienced providers looking for ongoing PRN work, with the flexibility to choose half or full-day shifts, making it ideal for maintaining work-life balance while contributing to Veteran health evaluations. Required Skills: Medical license in good standing Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or general medicine Experience or familiarity with Compensation and Pension examinations is preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to conduct interview-based exams and physical assessments Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience with Veterans’ health assessments Certification in relevant specialties Comfort with administrative tasks related to exam documentation and reporting Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from accredited medical school Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in general medicine or related fields Prior experience in similar assessment roles is advantageous Other Requirements: Must have own office and be located within a 50-mile radius of Lincoln or Lebanon, NH Willingness to work on a PRN basis, with flexibility for half or full-day shifts No prescribing or treatment involved Quick credentialing process Ability to perform exams on a schedule, including occasional follow-up documentation Valid state medical license and required certifications VHS offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $624.00, with additional benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, robust referral bonuses, paid sick time, and reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and related expenses.
