Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Behavioral
Health Unit experience. Recent travel experience preferred.
License: Must possess a current New York Temporary Health Care
Service Agency License/Registration Certificate. Certifications:
BLS, CPI Must-Have: Must have experience with de-escalation of
agitated patients. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle.
Epic experience is required. Reliable attendance is essential. Must
have experience with Pediatric, Adolescent, and Adult Patients.
De-escalation training from any recognized program is required.
Description: This position requires an RN to work in an inpatient
behavioral health unit. The average daily census is 20 patients.
The RN to patient ratio is 1:9, depending on census. The patient
population consists of adults and geriatrics. Average stay length
for patients is 5-7 days. Team composition includes 2 RNs and 3
behavioral health techs during night shifts, along with additional
support staff. Dress code includes personal scrubs of any color
with no designs or cartoons. Attendance concerns or call outs will
not be tolerated. Please ensure all necessary documentation and
compliance are met before applying. This role requires working
every other weekend and holiday rotation. The facility provides a
comprehensive service for patients experiencing various psychiatric
illnesses. It is essential to display a patient-oriented approach
