Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. An immediate
opening is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to
provide specialized OT services within a school setting in Newport,
NC. This contract position supports elementary-aged students and
offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in school-based
occupational therapy while collaborating with educational staff to
enhance student development and participation. Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy license in North Carolina (NC OT)
Experience working with elementary-aged children in school
environments Strong understanding of school-based OT practices and
interventions Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers,
parents, and multidisciplinary teams Job Details: Location:
Newport, NC Start Date: ASAP End Date: End of current school year
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week Age Group:
Elementary students Employment Type: Contract position
Responsibilities: Provide skilled occupational therapy evaluations,
plans, and interventions for elementary students Collaborate with
educators and support staff to implement individualized education
plans (IEPs) Document student progress and maintain compliance with
regulatory and school policies Support students in developing fine
motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
