Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare institution known
for merging a high-caliber hospital with a top medical college, is
seeking a dedicated RN-Quality Specialist to enhance our Quality
Assurance & Testing department. This vital role focuses on
implementing and overseeing quality improvement initiatives to
ensure the highest standards of care and compliance throughout the
facility. The RN-Quality Specialist will collaborate with clinical
teams to assess and analyze clinical performance, participate in
patient safety programs, and contribute to training on quality
standards. This role bridges the gap between direct patient care
and administrative strategies to enhance patient outcomes and
hospital efficiencies. Assess patient care and safety procedures to
recommend improvements. Implement quality improvement projects
across clinical departments. Analyze healthcare data to identify
patterns and areas for enhancement. Lead cross-functional teams in
audits and accreditation processes. Report and discuss findings
with healthcare management and staff. Stay current with healthcare
regulations and accreditation standards. Manage staff training on
new compliance protocols and quality standards. Strong analytical
and data interpretation skills Proficient in healthcare compliance
and quality assurance Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills Ability to lead and teach others Knowledge of Quality
Improvement processes and best practices Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) is a plus
