PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team, focusing on providing exceptional speech therapy and rehabilitation services to our patients directly at their homes. The ideal candidate will engage in one-on-one sessions, implementing tailored treatment plans that adhere to the patients' specific rehabilitation needs following surgery, injury, or illness. This role demands a compassionate approach to patient care, deep understanding of speech disorders, and the ability to adapt therapy techniques to a home environment, ensuring a smooth, effective, and personalized recovery process. Conduct patient assessments to develop and implement tailored speech therapy treatment plans. Provide direct patient care in a home setting, adjusting techniques and approaches as per individual recovery requirements. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery. Educate patients and their families on speech disorders and ongoing therapy techniques to facilitate recovery and independence. Maintain communication with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. In-depth knowledge of speech disorders and appropriate therapeutic interventions. Ability to adapt therapy practices to individual patient environments and needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in documentation and patient management software. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
