Job Description Job Title: Nocturnist Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) Location: Troy, New York Position Type: Full-Time Compensation: $332,800 base salary Position Overview A hospital-employed hospitalist group in Troy, New York is seeking a full-time Nocturnist to join an established inpatient team. This is a 7-on/7-off schedule with strong system support and a collaborative practice environment. Practice Details - 7 PM – 7 AM schedule - 7 on / 7 off rotation - Closed ICU (ICU team manages ICU patients) - No required procedures - Nocturnists respond to rapid responses and codes - Average daily census: 15–18 patients per physician - APP support included Both experienced physicians and upcoming 2026 graduates working toward board certification are encouraged to apply. Compensation & Benefits - Base salary: $332,800 - Starting bonus up to $40,000 - Relocation assistance (reimbursement-based) - Health, dental, vision insurance - Paid malpractice with tail coverage - CME allowance - Paid time off - Retirement plan with employer matching Qualifications - Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine - New York license (active or ability to obtain) - DEA (or ability to obtain) - Clean malpractice history
