compassionate and knowledgeable Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
(PICU) Per Diem RN. This role requires proficiency in delivering
acute care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents,
ensuring their comfort and safety. The candidate will work in a
dynamic environment where they will adapt to varying workloads and
patient conditions, offering a personalized, empathetic approach to
pediatric care. Provide critical care and continuous monitoring to
pediatric patients with life-threatening health conditions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to formulate
individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments
accurately and safely. Communicate effectively with patients'
families about the care course and health education. Maintain
patient records and document all care provided. Adapt to rotating
shifts and varying patient loads. Expertise in pediatric healthcare
and critical care procedures. Ability to operate complex medical
equipment used in the PICU. Strong communication and interpersonal
skills. Capacity to make swift decisions in high-pressure
situations. Compassionate patient and family care. Current
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice Pediatric
Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification
