Job Description:
Albany Medical Center, a pioneering institution in healthcare,
seeks a Clinical Nurse III for our Critical Care Unit (CCU). This
role demands highly skilled nursing care for patients with
life-threatening medical conditions. The ideal candidate will
possess a profound ability to respond to rapid changes in patient
conditions, collaborate closely with interdisciplinary medical
teams, and contribute to our education and research goals. As an
integral part of our team, you will uphold the excellence that
Albany Medical Center is renowned for. Provide critical care and
monitor life support systems to patients in the CCU. Assess patient
conditions and administer appropriate clinical interventions.
Execute advanced cardiac life support techniques and other
emergency protocols. Educate patients and their families on disease
processes, treatments, and healthcare management. Engage in
continuous education to maintain expertise in critical care best
practices. Participate in research and clinical trials as
applicable. Advanced knowledge of critical care techniques and
protocols. Proficient in using medical software and electronic
health records. Strong communication skills, both verbal and
written. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced
environment. Medical Insurance Life Insurance Registered Nurse (RN)
licensure in the state of practice. Certification in Critical Care
Nursing (CCRN) preferred.
