Job Description:
Albany Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse III
to join our South Clinical Campus. This role demands a deep
commitment to patient-centered care, a profound understanding of
healthcare protocols, and a drive to be part of a leading medical
education and research institution. The successful candidate will
demonstrate advanced clinical skills and the ability to enhance
patient outcomes while effectively mentoring junior nursing staff.
Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient
outcomes. Mentor and lead junior nursing staff in various patient
care activities. Participate in research and clinical trials.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Advanced patient assessment and care planning. Expertise in IV
therapy, wound care, and emergency response. Proficiency in EHR
(Electronic Health Records) systems. Strong leadership and team
management skills. Ability to conduct and assist in clinical
research. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of New York. BLS/ACLS
certification. Certification in a specialized area of nursing
(e.g., CCRN, RNC-NIC) preferred.
