Job Description:

CookThe Marian Center, Inc., located on a beautiful campus in Holyoke, MA is seeking a FT Cook 32 hours (9am - 5pm including every other weekend) to prepare and serve nutritious homestyle meals for the residents of the center. Will develop weekly menus in collaboration with the Food Service Manager. Must adhere to guidelines for the safe handling and preparation of meals. Kitchen and equipment must be maintained in accordance with safety guidelines and cleaning schedules.Successful candidate will have a passion for working with seniors and being experienced in planning menus and meals for large groups. A minimum of 3 years cooking experience required. Vocational/culinary training and dessert preparation preferred. Ability to lift a minimum of thirty pounds, stand for long periods of time, bend, engage in repetitive movements required.Will consider qualified candidates who are seeking a 16 hour schedule that also includes every other weekend and holiday scheduling.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $19.00 per hourBenefits:
