We are based out of North Branford CT and looking for Team Members who are friendly, energetic, focused on service, resourceful, team players, have a passion for growing, and an appetite to learn.A qualified Customer Service candidate is someone passionate about creating customer experiences that create loyalty and advocacy where our Team Members build relationships and become the "go to" person for lawn and garden needs. From warm greetings, always with a smile, a Customer Service Team Member begins a conversation with, "What kind of project can I help you with, today?" Our Customer Service Team Members then take customers to departments to gather the necessary products for the customer projects. Our Customer Service Team Members keep the store "ready to shop" with maintaining cleanliness standards, displays with proper pricing, and impactful product displays and product pairings. A great Customer Service Team Member will make timely suggestions that will save the customer from making multiple trips back to the store to complete their projects.Bring your Smile and Optimistic Warmth! Customer Service Team Members are knowledgeable about lawn care products and additional items, tools, plants, and fertilizer, to help our customers create vibrant gardens and lawns. They love pets and will ask customers about furry, feathered, scaled, shelled, or finned "family" members.Duties include: Welcoming all customers with warm greetings, engaging the customers about their projects, keeping counters and the store clean and organized, operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system efficiently, follow cashiering procedures to assure accuracy, helping customers get their purchases to their vehicles and bidding a sincere thank you and a fond farewell.Qualifications for the role of Customer Service Team Member include: A high level of enthusiasm for service and personal energy, a strong work ethic, a genuine love for lawn and garden care and pet products and their use, interpersonal and conversational skills to create customer engagement and sales, ability to work well in a team environment, and the ability to work with a diverse staff.CT Gardens, LLC provides a pleasant and safe working environment, training programs, a fair and competitive wage, opportunity to earn a sales bonus, and the tools to be productive.
