Bean Restaurant Group in West Hartford, CT is looking to hire a full-time or part-time Bartender to work at our Union Kitchen location. As a Bartender, you are an essential team member in our front of house operations and love letting your personality shine to engage with guests. You create classic and innovative cocktails and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with our standard drink recipes to delight patrons each day. Your day includes listening to patrons to determine beverage preferences and taking food and beverage orders. You have an expert understanding of drinking making techniques and mix ingredients to prepare exceptional cocktails and complete beverage orders from our serving staff. Additionally, you monitor and control alcohol consumption from our guests to ensure guest safety. With great attention to detail, you take inventory and order supplies to maintain a well stocked bar. You stay focused on your patrons to provide an excellent guest experience and you assist fellow employees to meet guests' needs and support the overall operation of the restaurant.


Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Basic math and familiar with point-of-sale computers and software
Ability to sand, walk and lift heavy items for extended periods of time
Minimum two (2) years of bar or restaurant experience to include drink preparation
Current beverage service certification or other certification as required by federal/state/local law

This full-time or part-time position includes day and evening shifts as well as weekend shifts.
