assist with the day to day tasks as listed below. Ideal candidates

growth over 83 yearsESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES INCLUDE:
Planograms:Ensure all items listed in current Big YPOG's are set up
properly in the Big Y system.Ensure that all POG's are
updated/posted on Big Y intranet.Keep imperial field personnel
informed on all POG updates, new items, and discontinued
items.Resets:Initiate request for new and discontinued items from
space management.Turn off discontinued items in system.Create deal
sheets for mark-downs.Coordinate updated category footage survey
with Imperial operations manager.Complete new item paperwork and
submit to Big Y category manager for approval.Create new item
distributions and submit to customer service including fixtures for
applicable categories.Reset completion forms:Maintain a file for
all completed reset completion forms.Communicate unresolved issues
on the completion forms to operations manager and sales
supervisors.Service level:Monitor the deleted items being ordered
and submit the items to category manager(s) to turn off in
system.Item files:Maintain accuracy of HBC and GM item
files.Immediately upon notification from Big Y store personnel or
imperial retail personnel, correct any item authorization
issues.Prepare new item set up sheets.Request new item samples in
compliance with Big Y new item set-up
process.Promotions:Communicate all distribution quantities to be
put on HQR reserve report and ensure product is ordered.Upload all
current distributions as provided by the account manager.Follow up
to ensure that distributions ship on schedule.Monitor distribution
quantities to make sure distributions ship complete.Section sizes
and store layout:Create and maintain a store layout database that
contains the size of all imperial sections by store.Update database
with new and remodeled store information.Field communication:Take
calls from imperial field reps regarding item or billing
issues.Take calls from Big Y store teams regarding missing invoices
or orders. Follow up with imperial to resolve problems as quickly
as possible.Develop weekly newsletter to post on constant contact
for imperial personnel and a newsletter for Big Y personnel to be
sent out every Thursday with the 6pm communication.Quality service
feedback:Address any issues communicated on feedback form.Maintain
a spreadsheet tracking all feedback and resolution.QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to
perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed
below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability
required.4 year degree preferred (will consider candidates with
relevant work related experience in lieu of formal degree).Advanced
MS office software required. Supply chain or warehouse management
system (WMS) and planogram software programs a plus (POG software
e.g. Spaceman, computer generated/computer automated ordering).2 to
5 years corporate headquarter sales/category and/or merchandising
support/coordination related experience or similar a plus.Excellent
customer service / problem solving skills. Experience working in a
supermarket or other retail high volume fast paced work environment
a plus. (HQ or store level applicants welcomed).Requires strong
communication skills, both verbal and written.Advanced
organizational and analytical skills and a high level of
proprietary information and confidentiality.Ability to manage
multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and achieve deadlines
under pressure.Pre-Employment Criminal Background Clearance and
