Job Description:

The Human Resources Associate supports the human resources department in the daily administration of its activities. The AIER HR department serves local staff, a growing remote workforce and its subsidiary's employees. A primary focus is the administration of payroll and benefits for both organizations.Duties:Process biweekly multi-state, multi-company payrolls Administer benefits enrollments and changesMaintain employee recordsAssist in the creation and maintenance of human resources forms or documentsAnswer basic employee questions about human resources policies or offeringsSchedule interviews, orientations, or training sessionsInput HR-related data and compile standard reports for management reviewOther related administrative tasksQualifications:Full understanding of payroll practicesLeave and ERISA plan benefits administration experienceDetail oriented with a record of accuracyKnowledge of computer applications and HR-specific software programsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionWorks well and maintains composure under pressureOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsExceptional organizational and time-management skillsKnowledge of resume databases and Applicant Tracking System software a plusBachelor's degree and 1 year of successful HR experience (high school diploma or GED with 5 years of related experience)Knowledge of employment visas a plus
