If you're an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, curious disruptor, come build with us, you'll fit right in.Role details Ultimately, you will build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our IT positions.Screens, interviews, and recommends prospective employees for employment in entry-level and experienced technical positions. Also works with search firms or other placement agencies. Determines optimum recruitment method to develop and maintain a highly qualified candidate pool. Working as a Tech Recruiter typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.We are scaling the company and increasing the number of roles we are hiring for in 2021. You will help us meet our hiring needs by focusing on hiring for our engineering roles with speed while providing a great candidate experience. About you/Experience (We think you'll be successful if you have...)

  • 2+ years of experience as a technical recruiter ideally at a software technology start-up
  • An understanding of competitive compensation for engineering roles in a fintech startup
  • Experience recruiting for a variety of roles, particularly technical ones, including backend, frontend, test, and security engineers
  • Expertise managing every aspect of the candidate pipeline including sourcing, screening, and closing candidates
  • Good understanding of how software products are built and how all the roles fit together on an engineering team
  • Experience building a metrics-oriented organization that uses data to make informed decisions.
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System such as Greenhouse is preferred
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills; demonstrable initiative, creativity, and flexibility, good organizational skills
  • A great attitude Key areas of responsibility
    • Write and post technical job descriptions
    • Source potential candidates on niche platforms, like Stack Overflow and Github
    • Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes
    • Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants' abilities
    • Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions)
    • Coordinate with IT team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs
    • Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
    • Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals
    • Compose job offer letters
    • Onboard new hires
    • Promote company's reputation as a great place to work
    • Conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements
