Job Description:
40 hours a week/ Rotating schedule based on service's needs.
Some weekends and holidays are required.THE POSITION:The Technical
Trainer of the ICU and SCU works closely with the supervisors and
management staff of Angell Animal Medical Center to develop,
conduct, and facilitate learning and development programs for the
employees.If you are a Certified Vet Technician who enjoys teaching
and has strong leadership skills, this may be the opportunity you

this fun and highly visible role as the Inpatient Department's
Training Coach, you would:Develop strong relationship with all
Services within Angell to develop course materials and receive
training feedback.Create clear, concise, well-designed, easy to use
materials to enhance learning. (Video, job aids, handouts, games,
etc.)Collaborates with Angell Managers and leaders to identify
business performance needs, securing buy-in on program purpose,
content, and learning outcomesHelps the Manager execute paperless
system via teaching Signature and Instinct computer use to the
techniciansTake charge of all training of new and current
employees.Be a working member of the clinical team and provide
hands on training on a daily basis.Provide follow-through to
maximize transfer of knowledge, skills and capabilities and use
standardized checklists to track employee progress.Assist employees
who are challenged by performing specific tasks related to their
position.Test trainees to measure progress and to evaluate
effectiveness of training.In this vital training and coaching role,

REQUIREMENTS:We are looking for applicants with at least three
years' of experience working in veterinary healthcare management
and one year experience in training. Certified Veterinary
Technician (CVT) or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) required.
As this position requires excellent verbal and written
communication skills, we require applicants to include a cover

experience in training, diversity/inclusion and/or organizational
development, 3 years' experience in veterinary healthcare,
management experience and demonstration of increased job
responsibility and previous supervisory experience required. Work
experience in a fast paced, multi-veterinary referral hospital or
