As a member of our team, you will have the chance to work with customers that are both Government and industry leaders and technology innovators.This position is with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency's (NGA) Research Directorate and supports the NSG and National Security Strategy by solving hard defense and intelligence problems for the IC and DoD. The NGA Research Mission Support Office supports the pods and technical offices. It includes Strategic Partnerships and Communications (SPC); Technology Transition, Transfer, and Protection (T3P); Program Planning and Execution (PPE); and the Research Lab Environment (RLE) teams.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide website design and programming language expertise for the development and maintenance of websites across various platforms, such as WordPress and SharePoint.
• Use software languages including, but not limited to, Python and R and other services to tie tools and/or applications together into workable systems; build and maintain databases and information stores using applications including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Access, and OneNote; and transfer information among appropriate security domains using existing applications and NGA's Data Transfer Services.
• Operate web content management systems, analyze and coordinate requirements with NGA Research website custodians and users, and adjust interfaces and content to translate products, information, and data into web content for dissemination.Required Qualifications:
  • Computer science work experience in the following areas:
    • Website design and knowledge of program languages for the development and maintenance of websites across various platforms.
    • Ability to translate products, information, and data into web content for dissemination, and design software and services to tie applications together, build and maintain databases and information stores, and transfer information among security domains.
    • Operate web content management systems, analyze and coordinate requirements with customers, and adjust interfaces and content.Desired Qualifications:
      • BA/BS in graphic design, or art.

        • Ability to sit and work in a cubicle on a workstation in a SCIF for approximately eight (8) hours each workday
        • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers. Must be able to easily exchange accurate information in these situations.

          • BA/BS, MA/MS, or PhD in computer science (Majors may include, but are not limited to Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Programming, Cloud Engineering).Years of Experience:

              Salary Compensation Range: $160,000 - $172,000 annually
              (Pay transparency is important at ACS and is one way we ensure we remain on a committed . However, note that salary offers are dependent on many factors, including a candidate's education, clearance, practicing skill level, scope of influence, and years of experience, and offers may fall outside of this advertised range.)
