Description POSITION SUMMARY The Variable Life, Group Plans and BGA Support Team at MML Investor Services (MMLIS) supports variable life and Group Plans new business processes as well as other functions supported through our BGA relationships with Ash Brokerage and Crump Insurance Services. RESPONSIBILITIES As a member of MMLIS Variable Life, Group Plans and BGA Support Team, the candidate's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Review variable life and Group Plans new business submissions for accuracy and completeness - Identify cases that are not in good order (NIGO) and work with our Field force or our BGA teams to resolve. - Provide telephone support to both internal and external customers concerning paperwork requirements, NIGO issues, setting up customer accounts, etc. - Process client data into back office systems with a high level of accuracy - Research and resolve operational issues as needed. - Identify and resolve problems using Root Cause Problem Solving tools. - Work effectively to meet/exceed productivity and quality standards. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - Superior telephone and communication skills - Strong organization and analytical skills - Excellent data entry skills - Must be a team player - Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adhere to strict deadlines - Ability to work overtime and/or work a flexible shift arrangement as business needs arise. - Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - College degree preferred or equivalent business experience - Knowledge and understanding of FINRA/SEC rules and regulations preferred Why Join Us.
