Job Description:

Summary:We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for someone with 2-4 years of Accounts Receivable experience, has worked within an ERP system and is willing to learn / grow within a company. This role will be 100% in office to start. This role will report directly to the Controller. Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintains, records, edits, and prepares documents and files on computer system
• Enters work orders into Visual systems from customer purchase orders
• Maintains contact with customers as needed
• Prepares and mails invoices; verifying cost against purchase order; completes invoice packet for company file including proof of shipment, purchase order and invoice
• Maintain general office files
• Scans all travelers and renames for easy access to other departments
• Corrects Certifications of Compliance
• Answers phones and directs calls as needed
• Works closely with Management, Accounting, and staff to assure that all Purchasing and AR functions remain cross trained and staff is kept informed
• Verifies invoices from suppliers when pricing and/or quantities do not correlate
• Enters purchase orders for welding gases, weld wire, contract services upon requisition
• Enters purchase orders on all outside services linked to a work order
• Updates costs in system due to price increases and/or freight charges
• Responsible for Daily AR cash application and reconciliation of the AR GL BalanceQualifications:
  • 2-4 years of Accounting experience working with Accounts Receivable
  • Bachelors or Associates Degree in Business related field preferred
  • Moderate understanding of Excel
  • Strong customer service acumen
  • Ability to communicate with external vendors and internal employees
