I. Job Summary

Utilize standard maintenance practices to diagnose and repair or replace electrical instrumentation systems. Must possess sufficient computer skills to maintain maintenance records and prepare maintenance-training materials.

 

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. 

  • Maintain pumps, gas and liquid flow meters, thermal couples and pressure transmitters

  • Troubleshoot air and electrically actuated valves and temperature/pressure transmitters

  • Tune control valve responses for a Honeywell HC 900 process control system

  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of maintenance logs, adequate parts inventory and file equipment documentation

III. Supervisory Responsibilities

Not normally required to supervise others

A. Education and Experience

  • Education: Not required.

  • Experience: One year of prior work experience with electronic equipment troubleshooting and equipment repair.

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

  • None required.

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • Effective and concise communication

  • Self-motivated and directed with a keen sense of urgency to deliver results

  • Strategic thinking
