include, but not limited to the following):Ability to set the
standard for a good safety program, making sure team is up to date
with training requirementsResponsible for gun movement and snow
qualityAssistant to the Shift Supervisor and assumes the
Supervisors role in the absence of the Supervisor Assist in off
season maintenance including and not limited to: snowmaking pipe
maintenance/ replacement, hydrant repair, valve house/ pump house
repair or new construction changing out valves, pump repair,
building maintenance, roof repairsSummer trail maintenance
consisting of , but not limited to: brush cutting, tree felling,
chipping brush, seeding and mulching areas disturbed, water runoff
maintenanceAssist other departments when needed Skills (to include
the following):Ability to take direction from Manager/ Asst.
ManagerStrong leadership and supervisory qualities and ability to
motivate crewExperienced in all aspects to the operation and
service of snowmaking system, including pump stations and
compressor padsStrong judgment skills required for personal safety
and for working with staffStrong communication skills needed to
coordinate with staffAbility to work in fast paced environment to
meet objectivesOther duties include a general mechanical
backgroundAbility to operate various pieces of grooming and snow
removal equipment is a plusAbility to communicate via radio and
phone systemsPhysical Demands (to include, but not limited to the
following):Physical fitness is required, with ability to perform
strenuous tasks in adverse weather conditions quickly and
effectively, ability to maneuver in all terrainAbility to run a
brush saw, chain saw, pole sawAbility to lift, reach overhead,
stand, sit, bend, climb, walk on all terrain, work in varied
weather conditions, ride snowmobile, ATV/ UTV, truck, tractor,
snowcat and operate hand and power tools as well as maneuver snow
gunsHeavy lifting (75
pounds)Certifications/Diplomas/Prerequisites:High School diploma or
